They do really nice things for people that have cancer. You can send a gift to someone and it doesn't even have to cost you anything, it could be just a homemade card or something else that you made. My Mom is so funny

My Mom has sent a letter to "he who's name we do not mention" ( the dog whisperer) Hahahahahaha that is so funny, like he would come here. Oh my sides are starting to hurt from laughing.

Wait a minute, he wouldn't actually come here would he?? Is this a trick to try to get me to behave?

I am going to have to be on my guard. No body gets in without my permission. Especially "he who's name we do not mention". I will let the pizza guy in but thats it!

Help My Mom is Reading About Dog Training

Ok so my Mom found a website about dog training and I heard her reading it to my sister and its not good. Apparently I have something called "small dog syndrome", is that a disease?? She also said that it is my families fault, did they give me a disease?? The story said that my family are not being something called "pack leaders" with me and that is why I am so sassy sometimes because they let me get away with too much. What is wrong with that?? I am supposed to be in charge right?? They actually said that because they let me think I am the "pack leader" is the reason I am so spoiled. Well duh!! Of course I am the leader of this house, I am the guardian of the family. So now is the really scary part, there is talk of my Mom taking me to some kind of class or something and trying to teach me about rules and who's in charge. This is all because she says she loves me very much but is tired of getting bit by me. I don't want to bite her, but how else do I let her know that I am in charge?? When will she finally learn that as long as I get my way everything is cool. Oh well maybe I will get treats at the class and make some new friends and by the end of it maybe I will have my Mom and family trained for good. Wish me luck my friends. Sasha

I am trying to hide from my Mom

My Mom has been talking to my Dad and sister about taking me to the groomer to get a summer haircut. I have found a few hiding places. I hate the "G" word!

Here I am in the kitchen, but I don't think she will see me or think to look here. What do you think? Am I safe here?

If that doesn't work I am going to just lay in among the stuffies and she will think that I am one of them. Ha-ha Mom I will fool you.

A bad hair day

I was sound asleep, dreaming I think although I can't remember about what now. I heard someone approaching. Being the great watch dog that I am I could tell it was friendly footsteps and no need for alarm. I continued on trying to get back to my dream, I know it was something good involving food and a new toy. Here we go, a nice stretch and back to dream land.

Hark, the footsteps get closer, maybe I should take a look. Its only Mom, what does she want, are we going outside or maybe I can just humor her for a while running after one of my toys. Why is she picking me up, grrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrr. Thats a warning Mom I am not in the mood for any grooming today so just forget right now! She is going towards the sink, oh help my friends, rescue me from her grip.

Well Mom wins again, I got my face trimmed and washed and she trimmed my other end, you know the area that we dogs sniff each other. She trimmed and washed that part, how degrading. Well I must now tell you that I did get one good bite in. Ha-ha Mom take that. Oh dear she looks upset now and there is a liquid coming out of the part of her thumb that I bit. She put me down. Now I have that "bad dog feeling". Next time perhaps I will just let her do it. Or not.

I am sorry Mom, I love you but next time just let me sleep. I wash my face every time I take a drink of water, I don't need you to do it!

Now back to that dream, yaaaaaaaaaaaaaawn, ah treats, toys and ZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZ

Sasha is playing tag with MzzLily and Sadie

MzzLily and I bet Sadie too over at essays & utter nonsense have asked me to play a game of tag. I don't really get how to play so Mom is going to help me. I would rather play with Sadie but this is ok too. Thank you MzzLily for tagging us. Here is what she has to do:

1. Go to photo files....select the 6th folder
2. Select the 6th photo in that folder
3. Post the photo along with the story behind it
4. Tag 5 of our friends to do the same thing

Because this is my blog, I told Mom she has to pick my doggy friends to play tag with. I am confused about the whole tag thing, I thought it was a game but I don't exactly get to touch any other dogs do I? I will touch them through my blog to their hearts with love from Sasha.

If you don't feel like playing tag today that is ok and if you do have fun. Ok here is the picture we found and it is kind of a tribute. This is me and my friend Ginger. Ginger was very old and she went to heaven last year. She was a nice friend and even though she was pretty old, she kept up with me pretty good. The picture isn't the best of her, but as you can see we were also playing some kind of tag game and she was about to tag me I think. She jumped up in the air, but I got away just in time, being the younger and quicker dog. I let her think she won though and then we shared a treat and a drink. To Ginger, run and be free now. Me and My Dad by Sasha

I love my Dad, here we are celebrating his birthday last winter, I gave him a bag of my favorite treats. He shared them with me, he is so cool.

After the party we were both pretty tired and I love to sleep with him, he has a blanket that gets nice and snuggy warm when its cold out. Here we are snuggling again after I got a haircut, I was pretty bummed out that day and he was very comforting.

Saturday in the Park with Sasha

Hi everyone, I am going out for a while with my sister Katy and my Mom.

Come on and join me, the stupid rain finally stopped. I don't like when I can't go outside!

Oh look, I am going to pick a flower for my Mom. Do you think she will like it? Maybe I will just eat it.

There is nothing as good for you as rolling in the grass at the park. It just doesn't get any better than this.

Back home and time for a long nap. What a great day. Now I need some sleep.

Sassy Sasha Discovers Tomato Soup

My sister, Katy put a yummy bowl of food on the table, she began to eat it and wasn't sharing any with me. I am not sure what it is but it must be good, because she is ignoring me. I hear that noisy little red machine she carries around with her, sometimes she talks into, how goofy is that!

Ah, she gets up to find her noisy machine. The bowl is just sitting there, no sense in letting any of it go to waste. Waste not, want not I always say. Yummy, it is so good, a liquid of some sort, I can't stop it is so good. Now everyone is upset with me. What did I do? Why is she taking it away? If she didn't want me to have it she shouldn't have left it there. These humans are so hard to figure out sometimes. Oh no, now my Mom is coming with a wet piece of Daddy's shirt or something, I feel a face washing coming, time to go.

SASHA'S TREAT FOR THE WEEKEND

MY FAVORITE DOG TREATS ARE HOMEMADE, YOU WILL NEED YOUR MOM OR DAD TO HELP YOU WITH THIS:

2 JARS MEAT ONLY BABY FOOD(4 OZ)
1/4 CUP INSTANT CREAM OF WHEAT COOKED
1/4 CUP POWDERED MILK

MIX ALL THE INGREDIENTS TOGETHER REALLY GOOD(MOM NEVER LETS ME HELP)
IF IT IS A LITTLE DRY ADD A LITTLE WATER.
ROLL INTO 1 INCH BALLS AND PLACE ON A GREASED BAKING SHEET, FLATTEN WITH A FORK(CAN'T HELP WITH THIS EITHER)
BAKE AT 350F(175C) UNTIL LIGHTLY BROWNED AND COOL ON A WIRE RACK

FINALLY I GET TO EAT THEM

NOTE FROM MOM: I HAVE TRIED MIXING VEGETABLE BABY FOODS AND IT WORKS BUT YOU NEED A LITTLE MORE CREAM OF WHEAT AS IT CAN BE TOO THIN. ALSO DEPENDING ON THE BRAND OF BABY FOOD YOU MIGHT NEED A THIRD JAR TO ADD A LITTLE MORE.
