Sasha's News Report and a contest for tongues

Hi my pals, its me Sashy guarding my toys from the thieves that are coming to take our candy. This is an older photo of me, so I haven't yet given in on the flashy beast protest. Mommy and I agreed to using an older photo for now. I think I almost have her broken down to my demands. We are all lucky pets that have found forever homes. There are lots and lots of other pets out there(I can't stand to think about it) that don't have homes and may be in danger. Mommy came across this article and thought it was important, so we are posting it. It is hard to think that these horrible things are being done, but we need to know, so we can try to put an end to it.

The federal Pet Safety and Protection Act would prohibit Class B Dealers and unlicensed individuals from selling dogs and cats to research laboratories. Class B Dealers are people who collect dogs and cats to sell to the research industry. They sometimes obtain their animals through illegal or unethical means, such as by responding to “free to good home” ads in newspapers, falsifying records to keep the true origins of the animals unknown and stealing pets kept outside in yards. They also buy animals in bulk from “bunchers,” whose methods are even more questionable. Eliminating Class B Dealers will also take away the profit motive of bunchers, providing a much-needed safety net to ensure beloved pets are not stolen or acquired under false pretenses and sold to facilities that test on animals.

Sassy Sasha Discovers Tomato Soup

My sister, Katy put a yummy bowl of food on the table, she began to eat it and wasn't sharing any with me. I am not sure what it is but it must be good, because she is ignoring me. I hear that noisy little red machine she carries around with her, sometimes she talks into, how goofy is that!

Ah, she gets up to find her noisy machine. The bowl is just sitting there, no sense in letting any of it go to waste. Waste not, want not I always say. Yummy, it is so good, a liquid of some sort, I can't stop it is so good. Now everyone is upset with me. What did I do? Why is she taking it away? If she didn't want me to have it she shouldn't have left it there. These humans are so hard to figure out sometimes. Oh no, now my Mom is coming with a wet piece of Daddy's shirt or something, I feel a face washing coming, time to go.

SASHA'S MOODS

I was thinking to myself today, do dogs have facial expressions? Look at this picture and tell me she doesn't look angry. She is mad about something, probably me taking too many pictures of her lol. It is so funny to me, I never really thought about it. I have so many pictures of Sasha and of course to me she is adorable but each one shows a different expression. I try not to "humanize" her too much but it does make me wonder what she is thinking very often. We are a little goofy but we "talk" for her at times imagining what she would be thinking. Its funny and silly but Sasha has many moods and her facial expressions say it all at times.

WHY DO THEY PUT CLOTHES ON US???

I love my family but why oh why do humans feel the need to put jackets or any type of clothing on us? HELLO I have fur, I don't need any more help from you thank you very much!! So when I am biting you as you are persistently trying to get this on me it is my way of saying NO I don't need it but thank you anyway.
