Waiting for Friday to Come

 I have been stocking up on a few things for my Friday visit from Pip and Puddles World Famous Tour. I am so excited I can hardly wait. I am so excited I can't even sleep.

"Mommy is it Friday yet?"   "No Sashy two more days"

Cotton Candy and Fun Times Ahead

Hi my pals, I hope you are all having a good day. We had snow and ice here in Michigan this morning, but now it is warmer and its melting. I like the melting part. My paws don't like being wet and cold, sometimes I even cry.

I had a great weekend and thanks to all of you that stopped by for meatloaf and a movie. It was a blastarooni!!! Today I am working on making cotton candy. How hard can it be, I asked myself??? Well...pretty hard I think. It didn't go as planned.

It did not taste like any cotton candy I have ever had. Yuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuck and back to the pawing board. I found out that Sister used to make cotton candy at one of her jobs, when she was younger. I need to get my paws on this magic machine.

You just put some sugar in the magic opening and magic, you have cotton candy that tastes like it should. I will get my paws on one of these before the Circus. I promise.

Fun on a Cold Night

Hi my pals, I know the weather hasn't been too good for some of you. It is still very cold here in Michigan and I know many of you have the cold  and some lots of snow and some ice. I plan on staying in this weekend with my family.

 Mommy cooked up one of my favorite cold weather meals. A meatloaf volcano, when you get into the middle, cheesy lava comes oozing out. It is soooooooooo good. We have plenty so if any of you are near by, please stop in for meatloaf and a movie at my house.

This is one of my favorites. Otis makes me think of my sweet Tweedles @Tweedles -- that's me , except she is a girl. I like to pretend that Tweedles and I are on an adventure and all the things that could happen along the way. We could run into Puddles and Pip and get into all kinds of mischief. We could find Goose and Bert and go fishing and swimming. I am sure Frankie and Ernie would show us around their garden if it was Spring. I could go on and on.

Sometimes its fun to imagine things like that. Do you like to imagine adventures?? It makes the cold winter seem not so bad to me. I hope to see some of your for meatloaf movie night. 

This is especially for my Scottie pals. These babies are so cute!! Please watch this, it will make you smile.

My Dream Date and Circus News

Hi my pals. My sweet dream date Remington and I had a portrait done. Do you like it?? I am snuggled in his strong manly arms and my head is in the clouds as usual when I am with him.

Valentine's Day will be our one year anniversary together. I will never forget how excited and nervous I was when he picked me up. It was a magical night, I will never forget it.

I had some snacks ready for us, chilled water, fresh apples and bacon bits. Look at the beautiful blanket he sent me.

I have been trying on dresses for this year. I am thinking of just blinging out my Packer cheerleading dress. I think he would like that. I can't wait for Valentine's Day.

It Is Cold!!

Hi my pals, I hope you are all keeping warm. It is so cold here in Michigan. I have been doing a lot of snuggling with Mommy.

I am so excited to join in for Sarges "Blogville Sled Day" @ Sarge Speaks Out

coming up February 2nd. I have never been sledding so I am trying to do a little practicing. 

I found this lid from Mommies decorations and I think I will give it a try outside. 

I just saw the temperature, I have a better idea, I will practice inside. We don't have a lot of snow right now. Do you need snow for sledding?? 

I have so much to learn, I think I will call my sweet Remington. He loves snow and he is so smart, I bet he knows all about sledding.

Hi my pals, I am so excited. I have never been to a circus and I just know this one will be a total blast!! I have been honored with hosting the "Foodables Tent". I have so many ideas, I have been studying and there are so many wonderful foodables that you can eat at the circus. I am just going to leave you with a little teaser and some samples of my "cornrats" made from fresh muskrat sausage.

 There is plenty more to come on February 15th and 16th. My event is free, so you can eat all you want and come back for more.

The Party is Over

Hi my pals, yesterday was a wonderful day. I hope you all had fun at the party. Mayor Madi seemed to enjoy it so that makes me very happy.

.

My sweet Remington was kind enough to have some of his staff come to help for the clean up. Miss Daisy and her clan got along very well with Fawna and Callie. It made my job so much  easier. Thank you to all of you.

Thank you sweety, I am sorry the Packers lost. I am sure you are already working on some training and new plays for next year. You did a great job, considering you were in between two teams. I hope you can take a little break now.

I will be resting today, what with the party and then cheering for the Packers, I am tired.

Mayor Madi

Mayor Madi @  Madi and Mom,   may I say it is an honor to be hosting the buffet to celebrate your special day. I hope you will enjoy everything and have a good time. 

I would like to take a moment to thank Mayor Frankie for all his hard work. All together now.

Paw Paw Pawraaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaay!!!

Mayor Frankie, you are quite an inspiration, Madi has some big paws to fill.

Now on to the festivities

The drink of the day is a "Hamtini", this is inspired by Mayor Madi who is very fond of her ham. It is topped with a slice of fresh pineapple.

I am starting with shrimp on a bed of greens.

There is a salad bar for those guests that might be boring vegan or vegetarian.

 This is a dish I created just for Mayor Madi, it is filet of cod and  sole over a bed of fresh shrimp with a lovely catnip sauce.

We also made some special squirrel and rice sliders for guests that have special dietary needs. The buns are gluten free

Plenty of chilled bottled water. You will find a dish with your name on it. Please try to use your dish only for your beverages.

I talked Mommy into some remodeling and I hope you like the relaxed atmosphere to enjoy the feast.

For dessert I have a selection of individual cakes to enjoy and each guest will have some to take home for later.

I have a special room set aside for Puddles, any guests Pip who feel the need to hang from the chandelier and drink beer, Goose. It has a tree made from beer bottles, plastic table and chairs and utensils and a pool of cheetos to jump in and get crazy. The walls and furniture are rubber, as well as the floor.There is also a dance floor in this area.

There will also be a large selection of everyone's favorites, possum pizza, squirrel bites in beer cheese dipping sauce and mousatoillie. 

I am also adding squirrel tacos. Please enjoy!

I hope you are pleased Mayor Madi and it was my pleasure to provide this for your very impawtent day.

Thank you to Puddles, Ruby and Nora for providing the squirrel and possum. I hope you will all have fun and enjoy the goodies.

Madi...um Mayor Madi, your Mayorness, Diva... you might want to let go of the...oh no...somebody grab Madi...don't let her got outside...Oh Wow cats really do land on their feet.
