Taking care of my Daddy

Hi my pals. It was kind of boring around here this weekend. My Daddy was sick and of course I was on duty to take care of him. He didn't feel like playing with me.

Here I am making sure that he stays calm and rests while he was watching football on Saturday
"Stay down Daddy, I am here to take care of you. Do you think Mommy could bring us some get well cookies?"" What Daddy, you don't feel like cookies?"Thats ok, I will be happy to eat them for you."

It is a very hard job taking care of sick peoples. I can't wait until Daddy can play with me again. He plays the best games with me. I love my Daddy.

I hope you all had a nice weekend. I am getting very excited for Thanksgiving. It is my favorite meal of the whole year. What is your favorite food on Thanksgiving?? Mine is mashed potatoes...yummm. The Wisconsin Badgers beat Michigan!! Congratulations to Brutus and the Ohio Buckeyes for their great victory!

Our friends name is Jan and she has one pet blog Animal Talk where she shares great stories about her horse Tango and lots of great rescue stories. Jan is a children's author and also has a writing blog calledJan Mader Ignite To Write . Every time we visit there are really fun writing games that anyone or anypet can play along with. A little while back she played a game that we would like to play with my pet friends with Jan's permission. How the game works is I will start the first line of the story and in your comments you help write the story. It can be a line or just a few words that will help the next commentor to keep the story going. I am going to leave it up until Wednesday. Please come back as often as you can to check on the story and add more to it. Make the story funny or silly or whatever you want and we will keep it going. After Wednesday I will type it up and with Jan and Tweedles we will give it a finish and then put up the whole story all together in a new post. This is gonna be so fun you guys and it will help me take my mind off of the awful disruption in my house. Please, please play along. I am so excited I am spinning in circles...getting dizzy...ok must lay down for a moment.

Ok here goes: The day began like any other day, a nice early walk outside with my Dad, heading toward my favorite spots...

My friend Maverick didn't recognize me at first. Then we played sniffy butts and it was ok.

I have to admit, it is cooler now when I go out to play, I don't get so hot.

Sasha is playing tag with MzzLily and Sadie

MzzLily and I bet Sadie too over at essays & utter nonsense have asked me to play a game of tag. I don't really get how to play so Mom is going to help me. I would rather play with Sadie but this is ok too. Thank you MzzLily for tagging us. Here is what she has to do:

1. Go to photo files....select the 6th folder
2. Select the 6th photo in that folder
3. Post the photo along with the story behind it
4. Tag 5 of our friends to do the same thing

Because this is my blog, I told Mom she has to pick my doggy friends to play tag with. I am confused about the whole tag thing, I thought it was a game but I don't exactly get to touch any other dogs do I? I will touch them through my blog to their hearts with love from Sasha.

If you don't feel like playing tag today that is ok and if you do have fun. Ok here is the picture we found and it is kind of a tribute. This is me and my friend Ginger. Ginger was very old and she went to heaven last year. She was a nice friend and even though she was pretty old, she kept up with me pretty good. The picture isn't the best of her, but as you can see we were also playing some kind of tag game and she was about to tag me I think. She jumped up in the air, but I got away just in time, being the younger and quicker dog. I let her think she won though and then we shared a treat and a drink. To Ginger, run and be free now. SASHA FOUND A NEW BED

I HAVE BEEN DOING SOME SPRING CLEANING AND ORGANIZING AND SASHA FOUND THIS BOX AND HAS MADE IT HER OWN. SHE LAYS IN IT, SOMETIMES SHE BRINGS IN A TOY AND PLAYS. I DON'T GET IT, I HAVE BLANKETS SPREAD OUT JUST FOR HER IN EVERY ROOM, BUT SHE PREFERS AN EMPTY CARDBOARD BOX. I HAVE TRIED PUTTING A BLANKET IN IT AND SHE PUSHES IT OUT. WHO KNOWS WHAT GOES ON IN THE MIND OF A SASHA GIRL? SHE IS MY LITTLE GOOF AND I WOULDN'T WANT HER ANY OTHER WAY.

WE LOVE TO BLOW BUBBLES FOR SASHA AND WATCH HER CHASE THEM. I TELL MYSELF SHE IS GETTING GOOD EXERCISE CHASING THEM AROUND BUT I KNOW IT IS MORE FOR OUR AMUSEMENT. STILL SHE DOESN'T SEEM TO MIND AND SHE GETS LOTS OF ATTENTION SO EVERYBODY WINS I HOPE LOL. WHAT DO YOU THINK??
