I was having a very nice fall Saturday until...

Hi my pals and good day to you. I was having a nice relaxing day, chilling, sleeping, snuggling with my Dad while he watches football and then...Mom pulls out the Halloween stuff. AAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAhhhhhhhhhhhhhhh, I hate costumes. The horror of getting it on, the humilation of my friends seeing me like this. Oh dear, here are some past nightmares so you can see what I am talking about.

Ok as you can see, I have a bribe on the floor for the year I was a crossing guard in a rain slicker.

Here is last years humiliation, a princess, I know I am a princess, I don't need a stupid costume to show that.

Look at this years model, I mean who dresses as a reindeer for Halloween I ask you, what is Halloween about that????? Seriously my friends, my Mommy has really gone off her rocker this year. I will do my best to find and hide this, but she put it on a high table. Any suggestions?? Good luck to all of you and I hope you are having a better day than I. I need to sleep now.

Halloween is almost here

Hello my pals. It is a very spooky time of year. Halloween is almost here. The horror of it, there will be creatures ringing my doorbell and walking in my yard and the worst part is...Mommy does nothing to stop them. NO, not only that but she gives away candy and food that could and should be for me. I get chills up my doggy spine just thinking about it. First I must hide my favorite toys lest they get in and try to take them. I will put my favorite hot dog squeaky in my tunnel. Do you think it will be safe there? Please my friends, gather up your toys, before it is too late.

Oh dear I hear noises, are they coming already. Could my house be gulp...haunted? Magic bubble, please get ready I might need you very soon. There is a strange smell in here and and my family is acting strange(well stranger than usual). Why must Halloween be so spooky? Just give me the treats and forget all the other nonsense. What is that coming up the stairs and looking at me????

Aaaaeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeee!!

Whew, I am ok, it was just a jack-o-lantern which smells strange to me. I must go and finish hiding my toys and also find a hiding place cause Mommy found a new costume for me. Now that is the scariest part of all.

Pet Pride

This is how I choose to wear my princess hat. It is my interpretation and I think it looks better this way.

Now if I could just get it off and hide it somewhere.

My Mom wants me to tell you that I have been a good girl lately and am improving in some areas. When the bad man was here to check on the kitchen progress, I did bark at first, but after Mom made me sit and told me to shush a few times, I did give in and sit quietly next to her. This is progress for me. We have also been playing a game called "targeting" Mommy puts her hand out and calls me, I touch her hand and I get a small treat or a scratch behind the ears(my favorite). Well now when they open the door and I accidently(on purpose) run out without my leash, Mommy just calls me and puts out her hand and for the past 2 weeks, I come right to her or my sis or Dad. I can't go out without my leash in the front because I have this crazy obsession with chasing cars or bikes or anything going past me fast. Mom is afraid to ever let me out without a leash because I might chase and get hurt or worse. I did get out once, when I first came to live here and it was very scary for her. She just wanted me to show you I can be a good girl and not sassy all the time.

Ok, here it is. I would never allow this to be shown before, but I am giving in. My Mom and sister bought me a Halloween costume with devil horns and tail! Me, can you believe it. The sweet angelic Sasha, a devil. Well let me tell you the devil in me came out that night! They were sorry, but I did get a lot of treats and people did kind of give me a lot of attention. Still!! A devil!

Is this the face of a devil?????? I think not, it is the face of a doggy that just got a haircut and was not happy about it!
