Halloween is almost here

Hello my pals. It is a very spooky time of year. Halloween is almost here. The horror of it, there will be creatures ringing my doorbell and walking in my yard and the worst part is...Mommy does nothing to stop them. NO, not only that but she gives away candy and food that could and should be for me. I get chills up my doggy spine just thinking about it. First I must hide my favorite toys lest they get in and try to take them. I will put my favorite hot dog squeaky in my tunnel. Do you think it will be safe there? Please my friends, gather up your toys, before it is too late.

Oh dear I hear noises, are they coming already. Could my house be gulp...haunted? Magic bubble, please get ready I might need you very soon. There is a strange smell in here and and my family is acting strange(well stranger than usual). Why must Halloween be so spooky? Just give me the treats and forget all the other nonsense. What is that coming up the stairs and looking at me????

Aaaaeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeee!!

Whew, I am ok, it was just a jack-o-lantern which smells strange to me. I must go and finish hiding my toys and also find a hiding place cause Mommy found a new costume for me. Now that is the scariest part of all.

licks and sniffs, Sasha

Good idea Sasha, I'm going right now to hide my catnip sock toy. I think I will find a hiding place for me too, at least until all those monsters go away. Oh no, mom bought more candy to give them, they will be everywhere.

We usually don't get any of those pesky humans ringing our doorbell which suits me just fine. Try to ignore them, OK?

Hey there Sasha
Okay I have an idea: Why don't you ship your toys over here to South Africa - there is very little Halloween stuff happening here - and I will look after them for you?

Right O Sasha, I've got my toys and bones gathered up except for the tennis balls because mama keeps saying obsessed when I play with them? She has them put up but I suspect she may try to give them out as treats since they are so valuable and anyone would be so much richer to own them.
You are very brave with the jack-o-lantern. Especially for a girl.

Sasha, honey - Halloween is scary, but you're so cute, you can overcome evil with a lick and a sniff. The trick or treaters can be a bother, but ... it's only for one day a year, so it's tolerable. Right? That's a nice sheet you have to relax on with your hotdog. And a very spooky jack-o-lantern!

Be brave, following along behind one those children. Someone is always dropping their bucket or bag...maybe you can pick up some extra treats. lol

Oh Sasha,

You can come stay with the kiddlets during this scary season! I have a moratorium on dog costumes this year.... and we get NO kids coming to our door! All you would have to deal with is this really annoying bird that whistles everyday between 2-6pm.

I only had one Halloween before, so I am looking forward to this one. Although I hope they don't keep ringing the doorbell, because then I have to let the tall guy know that there is someone at the door!

Hi Sasha, we have started hiding our toys now - we didn't know we had to do that.
Thanks for the tip - we have never had a halloween before in our forever home so not sure what is going to happen.

Aroooooooo! Sashy don't scare us,'cos we are too! I saw MOM wrapping things in black and orange? Could that be the same things that you Mom give away. Why are they doing that? They're suppose to make them stay away!

Well I guess, we'll have to brave sometimes Sashy. You take care!

I must hide all my toys. I will ask Mommy to hide my toy box under the bed, surely it will be safe there. Oh no, what to do. . . I gave you an award that was given to me. Please come to blog to pick it up.

Good idea for your special treat - we heard those little goblins do love hot dogs too. We usually spend Halloween night watching from the gated family room. Phantom isn't crazy about all the noise and will eventually head to his bunker for some peace.

Nice jack-o-lantern there.
