If I knew, I wouldn't have had to wear mine so long when I had stitches.

Our cousin dog (who is as big as a horse) kept banging the cone of shame around the coffee table (by accident?) and finally jumped off the sofa and banged it one last time on the edge of the coffee table and busted the cone of shame to pieces. He is probably the smartest dog ever to figure out the way to get the cone of shame off him. (Well its either he is the smartest dog or the most clumsy dog ever.)

We are glad all went well. Now to get that thingie off we think you should cuddle up to your mom and since she is sick she will want you to cuddle real tight. And then she will see the thingie is in the way of her getting cuddles and she will take it off! We hope you mom gets feeling better!

Keep Calm & Bark On!

Glad that the surgery went so well. Were you able to figure out how to get the cone off? Hope your mama feels better soon. It's no fun to be sick.

The trick to not having the cone is to not lick your stitches. It's super-duper hard, but it's the only way!!

Casey's advice is right on. I know it's hard to leave those stitches alone... but try!

I hope your mom is feeling better!
