Mystery Light

Last night we were snuggling as usual and watching that talky box thing that Mom and Dad seem to like a lot. Everything got dark, everywhere. I thought I was dreaming but I was awake because everyone got up and Dad said some words that he only says when hes mad. Mom said, oh no, the power went out, whatever all I know is it is dark. My sister comes in and she has the only light anywhere and she isn't sharing it. Can you see it? I am trying real hard to grab it and give it to Mommy, but sis won't let me get it. I get real close and it moves real fast. To make matters worse, everyone is laughing about something. What a bunch of kooks my family is sometimes. Everything is dark, there is one little circle of light left and they are all laughing when I try to get it.

Well after a little while, the big lights came back on. I am exhausted. Next time they can try to catch the light themselves.
licks and sniffs, Sasha

ur dog is very cute!! I have two Shih Tzu as well and don't you agree how adorable they can be? Whenever I say I want to take them to a walk, they will take their t-shirt with their mouth, and bring it to me so I could wear it on them. Shih Tzu are very intelligent. Anyway, kudos to your blog!!!

Hahaha ... my dog used to do that too, and we all laughed at him so hard. But he seemed to have a lot of fun doing it :)

Sasha,
I know what you mean. Sometimes when we are trying really hard to help (you must understand that we cats rarely help with such things) they will laugh. Humans can be just plain weird!

Are your people insane? That was clearly the landing light from an alien spacecraft. I am glad you scared it away.

Hey Sashy,

Does it happen there too? I mean the power cut?
I often happens here especially when there's a typhoon and you know what happen when the lights are out? I always get kicked 'cos they cant see me in the dark, I wish my coat can glow in the dark.

Your family is lucky to have you. You really worked hard to catch that light. You kept them entertained while the power was out so they culd smile and laugh and not worry so much about no lights.

How Cute! Hopefully the power came back on fast enough that mom and dad didn't have to throw too much away from the fridge.

PS My mommy says to tell your Mommy that yes...Bilbo has nipped at the g-r-o-o-m-e-r. But they were very patient with him. Sometimes it is just finding the right one that won't take ummmm our stubborn pup's bologne. I am sure this is all just hypothetical Sasha...really

Dispatch says it's important to catch the light. Other dogs stop and won't catch it on people but I know it's attacking them and must be stopped.

Hi Sasha,

I've seen that light before. I comes to my house sometimes too and Mommy laughs at me too when I can't catch it. Whatever, let her try to catch it sometime.

You are just too cute laying down, it is hard work chasing that light. Hope you had a good sleep.

Hi Sasha,

Those lights are difficult to catch, huh! Perhaps next time, get mom and dad to catch it for you, ya!

Hi Sasha,

Thanks for stopping by my blog! I think your drippiness after drinking water would be perfect for my Amateur Droolers category so please do post a post-drink photo as an entry for my contest!! :-)

Gosh, I have never experienced a power goes out (where do they go?) - that sounds very scary - but now at least I know what to do if it happens to me - follow your example! :-)

Hmm, since you were the only one trying to get the light, I think your people were being a little lazy.

Such a big responsibility for such a little girl!

Hehe! Sasha I can't wait til the lights go out next time and you get to laugh at them trying to catch the mystery light. Oh, my sides hurt from laughing so hard while I imagine it! No, I don't think you need a haircut.

WE hate it when the lights go out, but Dad seems to like it because Mom can't stay up all night on the computer, and we all end up going to bed early.

When our lights go out, they usually use candles and something called an oil lamp. It's stinky!

We have a little red "bug" light that Robert plays with Dott with. He says totally NASTY things like "She jumps around looking like a C-A-T..." (I can't even say THAT word.)

We think you were wonderful to try to help! BG
