If you follow my blog(and I hope you do) you may know that our kitchen had a flood and evil men have been coming here every day FOREVER to fix things. When they are here, instead of protecting my Mom, I get locked upstairs in a bedroom. Mommy does come and play with me a lot, but how can I protect her if I am locked up??
Next the potty thing the humans use broke when the men were fixing the floor, so that made a mess and more men had to come and more time locked up!Will my house ever get back to normal?
Well, guess what? I lost the battle of the floor, in spite of my constant objections, crying, barking and whining, somehow a new floor got put in along with a new potty. Next my Daddy was nice enough to surprise my Mommy and took some money from a special account and bought her a new stove and microwave oven. Mommy had the same stove for almost 30 years. One of our friends bought a new house and already had a dishwasher, so they gave Mommy the Maytag dishwasher that came with the house for free and it is almost brand new! Ours was broken.
My Mommy is about the happiest Mommy in the world right now, with her new kitchen, so I guess I will be happy for her too. Especially now that it is all over. The new floor is pretty cool, it feels good on my tummy and I can do good zoomies on it. I just hope nothing else goes wrong, I can't take anymore, and I hope all my toys are going to come back now. I think the evil men might have taken some.

I am so glad that turmoil is now over. The floor is beautiful. And I am so happy your mama got a new stove and dishwasher. I am sure she is sooo happy.
I betcha anything all your toys are still there- cause your mama and daddy would never let anyone take them!

Arf...arf...you know Sashy when AL had their house renovated, she was so proud of it along with the new stove and oven she got, you're Mom wasn't bragging she is just very happy with the new kitchen, plus the neat flooring...their not evil men, sometimes men comes here to fix something I just ignore them because when AL sees me barking at them I will get locked up in the room. So Sashy happy now?

If I was your mom I would tell everyone I could. I think you deserve a special treat for getting locked away in that room. That's no fun at all but it's over now. Tell dad that mom is a UW-Madison alumni and is a cheesehead so she LOVES college football too and packer backer. I know exactly how your dad feels.

Ahh, life, back to normal, with a few new things too! Thats great! And we have lots of xtra toys if you need some sweetness.
Wooos! We are glad you like the new floor, sorry you had to be incarcerated during the procedures, I really hate that! Dishwashers are fun, if they leave them open you can help washing the dishes with your tongue, I like helping with the dishes!

You're probably right about the toys. Evil men are notorious stuffie thieves. Also they take 11 items through the express checkout and don't use their turn signals.
So sorry to hear of your "new floor lockup". Thats no fun. Tell your momma that if the men took some you need to take a shopping trip and get some more. Thats what we had to do after charlie killed alot of mine.

Anne, that is so cool. A new floor and new appliances, congratulations. It does feel good to have a nice kitchen. We rented for years and when we finally bought this house I got new stuff. I was so happy. Enjoy and dance on the new floor.

My Mom is so THRILLED for your Mom!!! She redid her kitchen herself about 8 years ago... Spent all summer doing it, and she was so happy when it was done! She says she knows how wonderful it can make you feel to have somethings go really RIGHT for a change (Like getting our water running!)

Sasha, you look so pretty against the new floor. It really makes your color stand out. I can sooooo sympathize with you and all that turmoil. It is like your whole world is out of focus when things are not where they belong. We are so happy for your Momma getting all those new things she needs. Now, did she make you a home made dinner?
