My Mom says I have pretty markings when my hair is short. She also says I have freckles. I don't know what that means but as long as she pets me and gives me treats, I am good with it.licks and sniffs, Sasha

Wow Sashy, I like your photo on the header! Our markings becomes very obvious when we had our coats trimmed. Same on me...AL didn't know that I have black streaks on my butt. hahaha.

We bassets have lots of freckles - for some reason our mum calls them 'naughty spots' she reckons you can tell how naughty a basset will be by the amount of spots!!!!
Sometimes we wonder but if there is any logic in that it seems only right you should have just a few.....

You do indeed look very pretty. Freckles are good (or at least we think so here in Scotland, where we have more human redheads than anywhere else in the world, and they tend to be freckly too!)

Even before I read your post, the first thing I thought of when I saw the photos is how cool your spots are when they aren't all covered by fur! You really should let your mom show them off more often!!
