Hi to my pals and welcome to another college football Friday with Sasha. Wisconsin has won all their games so far this season. This Saturday we are facing the Ohio Buckeyes. I got to thinking what is a buckeye?? Well I googled it and this will explain a lot:The tree species Aesculus glabra is commonly known as Ohio buckeye, American buckeye, or fetid buckeye. It derives its unflattering common name from the disagreeable odor generated from the flowers, crushed leaves, broken twigs, or bruised bark . 
"A small, shiny, dark brown nut with a light tan patch that comes from the official state tree of Ohio, the buckeye tree." I hope Wisconsin does its best to beat them. I do hope it is a good game for all.

The menu for this week always begins with a cheese platter. Can you believe how she is teasing me with this, so close to my very hungry tummy? I did get a piece after the picture.

3. Homemade pizza(Mommy makes the best pizza and she even makes one just for me, with toppings I can have)
4. Fresh berry salad
5. Homemade peach pie
6. Plenty of nuts for everyone to eat and chew up.
I hope you all have a good weekend. Brutus is from Ohio and we tease each other back and forth about our football teams. It is all in good fun. We love each other. I think Brutus was even named after that silly looking mascot Ohio State has, my Daddy calls it the pregnant acorn. This is our weekend Brutus. Whatever happens I love you. In Wisconsin there is a saying" We may not always win the game, but we always win the party". I hope you all have fun tailgate parties.

We really dont understand all this football but we enjoyed your post.

we have a problem here. Mom's an alum of the UW and OSU. The only good thing is we'll come out a winner either way here. BTW- the buckeyes make a great candy.. peanut butter inside chocolate oustide in the shape of a buckeye.. yum.
