My Gifts Part 1!

Hi my Pals and I hope you all had a wonderful Christmas!!!! 

We did, it was so much fun and full of love and pressies.

Mommy made me wait all the way until Christmas Eve to open my exchange gift from Sweet Lily Two French Bulldogs !

Look how pretty the paper is and I love the beautiful card.

Christmas jammies and I am gonna wear them tonight for Santa.

I also got a stuffie hedge hog that squeaks.

I am gonna name you "Benny" in honor of Sweet Lily's Angel Brother.

Mommy has been very busy and hasn't been visiting for a few days, but we are catching up today.

Bake Cookies Day and Another "Elf" Warning

Hi my Pals, I am following our Pal Sweet William http://sweetwilliamthescot.blogspot.com/  who showed me

Daily Daisy Dog Blog is hosting "Bake Cookies Day"!!

My Mommy and I love to bake so here goes:

French Breakfast Puffs

1 and 1/2 cups flour

1 and 1/2 tsp. baking powder

1/2 tsp. salt

1/4 tsp. ground nutmeg

1/2 cup sugar

1/3 cup butter

1 egg

1/2 cup milk

For topping after baking

1/2 cup sugar

1 tsp. cinnamon

6 TBSP. melted butter or margarine(recommend butter)

1. Preheat oven to 350 degrees F (175 degrees C). Grease 12 muffin cups or 24 mini muffins(we use mini muffins)
2. In a large bowl, whisk together flour, baking powder, salt, and nutmeg. In a separate bowl, cream together 1/2 cup sugar and shortening. Beat in egg. Stir flour mixture into shortening mixture alternately with milk. Beat well. Spoon batter into prepared muffin cups.
3. Bake in preheated oven for 20 to 25 minutes(10 to 15 for mini's). While muffins are baking, combine 1/2 cup sugar and 1 teaspoon cinnamon.
4. Remove muffins from oven and muffin pan. Immediately, dip the tops of the muffins into the melted margarine, then into the sugar/cinnamon mixture. Repeat with each muffin, until all muffin tops are covered. Serve warm.

I know they are not exactly cookies, but they are delicious and I hope you like them.

Puddles and Gussie and all others who have "elf" troubles please be careful about eating cookies.

I fear "elf" poop is very toxic and can cause hallucinations.

I Am 10 Years Old!!

 

Hi my pals, today December 15th is my 10th birthday!!!

Do I look older??

Mommy says I still act like a puppy, so I am young at heart

I had a great day, we started the evening with a drive to see pretty lights on houses.

It was a  little snowy, but not bad and that made it even prettier. 

I also got to have some Arby's in the car which made it all the better.

 The fun ended for a little while.

When we got home, horror of horrors, I had to suffer through a molten lava torture session bath.

Mommy says it is in the birthday handbook that you must have a bath on your birthday. 

I can't read so I hope she isn't lying like a #$%&##  fibbing me.

I got a new toy that I named "Gobbler".

 He has a really cool squeaky noise that really seems to get everyone's attention.

I also got eggs and bacon for breakfast and lots of yummy treats.

I think these are pretty self explanatory. 

Wasn't my cake beautiful???

It was delicious.

After all of that I was pretty tired and this is how my day ended.

It was a great day. 

I have lots of extra cake, so if you want to stop by this week, I would be happy to share.

Sasha Not A Snow Dog

Hi my pals, here I am headed out for a walk in the new fallen snow.

 Lalalalala here I go out to tackle the snow.

What??? What do you mean get out of the road. Oh wait...

Ok back on the path again. "Frosty the snow man lalalalal"

Footsies are getting cold now. It is less fun now. No more singing for me.

Look at my snow prints!!

Time to go in please. My opinion of the snow after being out for a little while is pretty much summed up by my expression.

I am Humiliated!!!

My pals, I have been humiliated by my Sister. I have the evidence to prove it. She actually took a video of me having to...gasp...dare I say "beg" for cheese. 

If you listen, you can hear her laughing. Mommy also giggled when she saw it cause she loves the way my ears flap back when I bark.

Do I have cause to bite someone??? 

What can I do??

Christmas Doings Around My House

Hi my pals, sorry but I was a bit distracted searching for just the right gift wrap for my exchange gift. 

This is Mommies wrapping bag and I just love to crawl inside and sometimes I even fall asleep in here. 

Mommy thinks it is goofy, but what does she know.

I have been helping with the Christmas outdoor decorations.

I don't know what they would do without my guidance.

Mommy said to excuse the Wisconsin flag, it happened to be a football Saturday and Daddy hadn't taken it down yet.
