I also have a dog with a similar temperament. When we adopted him, he was so bad that the woman at the rescue made me swear I would bring him back to her if we didn't want to keep him because she knew if we brought him to a regular shelter they would put him to sleep. That was five years ago. We still have the little punk and he is a wonderful, albeit strange, member of our family.<br /><br />As far as grooming goes, the best I can do with my little handful is to do it only when absolutely necessary. It also took me a while to find a groomer with the right attitude to deal with my dog's issues. Call everyone in the phone book. Be honest. Tell them what Sasha is like and ask them if they can handle it. My groomer takes my dog in at 9 a.m. and I don't get him back until she closes at 5p!
